AUDITION RESULTS
Thank you to all the incredibly talented students who auditioned and interviewed to be a member of the competitive show choirs at Oak Mountain High School this year. We are blessed to have so many amazing and wonderfully talented students in the Oak Mountain community. We are very excited for the 2021-2022 season.
Mr. Zauchin strongly encourages all students who did not make Muses or Singers to continue to be a part of the choral department by participating in the Concert Choir class. It is important to continue to learn your voice if your ultimate goal is to be a member in one of the show choirs. All choirs perform pop and classical repertoire throughout the year.
Please remember the following:
Do not contact Mr. Zauchin, Mrs. Graddy, or any OMHS Booster Board member regarding the results for 48 hours after the list is posted.
Please refrain from posting the results or sharing online via social media.
Mr. Zauchin takes an immense amount of time looking over all the auditions when casting next year's shows and must do what is best for the show and the group as a whole. No one is ever guaranteed placement in a certain group. If a student chooses to quit for any reason, he or she will not be considered for any auditioned group in the future. Please remember that who you are and your worth does not come from what group you are placed. You are all special, valuable, unique and needed in the place chosen for you. Grow where you are planted.
