To all of you, I was so impressed by your abilities today!  Your preparation on the piece given to you 24 hours ago was superb.  This is the leadership needed for this group and in the entire choral department.  
YOU ARE THE STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE!

Please remember, your self worth does not come from placement in any group.  Instead, hold fast to the belief that everything happens at the perfect time.  If you were not selected for this ensemble this year, do not stop working to better yourself and the gift you have been given.  Next year holds time to grow for the opportunities that lie in the future.
